Black Panther (2018)

We are ALL excited about this release but members of the African-American community are super excited about the Black Panther movie due to be released on the 16th February, 2018. The all-black cast has lots of well know names such as Lupita Nyong’o, Angela Bassett and Forest Whitaker just to name a few of the well-known actors that can be found within this movie. Of course this can attest to the level of acting that takes place in this exciting fictional super hero movie.

The movie tells the story of T’Challa, who is also the Black Panther, and his return home as king of Wakanda but finds that his authority is being challenged by a long adversary. In a fight that could lead to global consequences, Black Panther has to team up with a CIA agent and members of the Dora Milaje, Wakanda’s Special Forces to help combat the threat.

The movie has already started to break records as it has dethroned Captain America: Civil War for the title of having the most pre-sale tickets sold for the Marvel Cinematic Universe movie. Also with the sound track being curated and produced by the Grammy award winning rapper Kendrick Lamar the music throughout the movie should keep viewers well entertained on top of the quality acting to be show cased in the movie.

The movie is a fantasy/ science genre and if the trailer is anything to go by there will be loads of action, technology and unrealistically beautiful back drops throughout the journey of T’Challa.
