If you are planning a get together for a few friends and are concerned as the host about entertaining your guests, there are always a variety of games options for a night such as this. But have no fear, I’ve got a few game options to make the night fun and unforgettable! You may be busy having so much fun you may not even be able to play all in one night, but if you are up for the challenge, then so am I!
Charades
Charades can be played by various apps or from the old-fashioned method, but the premise is that a word or a combination of words are to be mimed so that someone is able to correctly decipher the correct word(s). It can be made competitive into teams or just as one large group but if the latter is used, beware that it can get quite loud and very crazy. Teams may be the best way to go and you can play for points with the winner getting a prize.

Pictionary
Pictionary is another good party staple as all that is needed is a large enough surface to draw on that everyone can see and you are good to go. Similar to charades, but the person must draw so that the right answer is said. Of course, there is a time limit to add some urgency to the round but the person cannot draw the answer itself which adds to the hilarity of the game.

Two truths and a Lie
Next up is “Two truths and a Lie” where the game is played as the name suggests. Players must make three statements, with two being the truth and one being a lie and persons would have to guess which is which. Players can make their statements in any order and can make the game very interesting by making the lie quite believable.
Never have I ever
If you are with a group who doesn’t mind adding a drinking element, you can play “Never have I ever…”. Basically, the group goes around the circle and starts a statement with “never have I ever” and complete it with something they have not done. However, persons who have done it would have to take a shot. This can range from the mundane everyday activity to risqué behaviors, anything which gets the company drinking and having a good time. And if you are just about having a good time, you can even say stuff that you actually did so you can drink too.

King’s Cup
Another drinking game is King’s Cup and all you need is a deck of cards fanned around the base of an empty cup. All players would have drinks in hand and each player would turn over the fanned-out cards one by one. Each card has a required action to go with it and should be confirmed before the game starts. The most important card is that of the king, whenever a player pulls that card alcohol must be poured into the cup in the middle. The person who pulls that last king must drink the contents of the cup in the middle. And if you want to turn up the intensity of the game, you can add an additional deck of cards.
