5. Sky Burials
Sky Burial is a Buddhist tradition where the dead body is left out to be consumed by predatory birds such as vultures. They believe that the person will be reborn and so since the body is an empty vessel there is no need to preserve it.

3. Vine Jumping
In the Pacific archipelago, there is an island which consists of a village called Bunlap. A very weird ritual is performed known as Gkol. Men volunteer to jump while others sing and dance. Vines are tied around the ankle and then the person jumps from a high wooden towers specially constructed for this ritual. They believe that the higher the jump the greater the blessing from the gods.
