Shazam is a cool free music app that reveals the name of the song and the Artist after listening to the song played. You have the option to share the song, or see the video of that song on Youtube and get information on the Artist’s album, tour dates etc. Sometimes, you can even watch the lyrics scroll by as you listen along! Spotify is a great app for users to sync music from your desktop. It lets you create your own radio station so Spotify will play songs based on your recommendation.

iHeartRadio is a radio app for your mobile. You have the ability to save your favorite stations and even set your own customized alarm clock complete with a daily schedule and snooze option.
5. Slacker Radio
Slacker Radio is a free music app that has pre-programmed streaming radio stations for just about every genre you can think of. You are able to create new stations and playlists as well as keep track of your favorite songs and recently played songs.
